Jetzt ist es offiziell: Die Huawei Watch ist die schönste, schärfste und neueste Smartwatch unter dem Android Wear Himmel.

In einer Pressemitteilung hat Huawei den eigenen Einstieg in die Android Wear Welt mit der ohne viel Schnickschnack, als Watch bezeichneten schlauen Uhr angekündigt.

Die Uhr kommt mit einem 1,4 Zoll großen AMOLED Display, das mit 400 Pixeln in der Diagonalen auflöst und ist damit die mit 286 Pixeln pro Zoll die höchstauflösende Smartwatch überhaupt. Geschützt wird es übrigens von Saphirglas – damit sollte die Uhr vor den üblichen (und unüblichen) Belastungen des Alltags geschützt sein. Betrieben wird die Uhr mit einem Snapdragon 400 Vierkernprozessor, unterstützt durch 512MB RAM. Mit an Bord sind ein Pulsmesser, ein 6-Achsen Bewegungssensor und ein Barometer. Lediglich GPS lässt die Uhr vermissen und damit vielleicht den einen Punkt, der sie für Läufer oder Jogger zum besten Begleiter machen würde.

Huawei legt wert darauf zu betonen, dass die Uhr (im Gegensatz zur Moto 360) problemlos mit jedem anderen Standardarmband ausgestattet werden kann und spendiert der Smartwatch von Haus aus ganze 40 Watchfaces. Nicht schlecht.

Leider bleibt man sowohl Preis, wie auch ein Release-Datum schuldig – verspricht jedoch, dass die Uhr in über 20 Länder kommen wird; Deutschland natürlich auch.

Made of more than 130 components, Huawei Watch has a crown, frame and hinge built from high-quality and scratch resistant cold-forged stainless steel making it 40 percent harder. For the sports enthusiast, or just those interested in tracking fitness levels, Huawei Watch features a heart rate monitor sensor, 6-Axis motion sensor, and barometer sensor that automatically detects and tracks in real-time if a user is walking, running, biking, hiking or sleeping.
