Motorola hat die nächste Generation der wohl erfolgreichsten Geräte aus dem Portfolio veröffentlicht. Mit dem Moto G6 und dem Moto E5 und ihren jeweiligen Play-Varianten ist man deutlich näher an dem, was man bei anderen Herstellern im Premium-Segment findet.
Das Moto G ist das wohl erfolgreichste Gerät der Lenovo-Tochter und da sollte es in keinem Fall verwundern, dass man mit dem Moto G6 jetzt ein Gerät vorgestellt hat, das in Optik und Funktionen noch mehr Nutzer ansprechen dürfte. Für diese Generation hat man das Seitenverhältnis auf 2:1 aktualisiert und hat FullHD+ als meiner Meinung nach auch vollkommen ausreichenden Auflösung gewählt. Ein kleiner Bonus: Motorola verzichtet auf eine Notch.
Beim regulären G6 findet man einen Fingerabdrucksensore auf der Front, unterhalb des Displays. Davon bin ich persönlich zwar nicht der größte Fan, allerdings nutzt das Moto G6 diesen für die Navigation. Mithilfe von Wisch-Gesten auf dem Fingerabdrucksensor kann man zurück gehen, das Multitasking öffnen oder einfach auf den Homescreen gelangen. So hält man das Display frei von den optionalen Navigationstasten und erhält die vollen 2160 Pixel auf 5,7 Zoll für den content.
Auf der Rückseite findet sich ein Dual Kamera-Setup aus einer 12 und einer 5 Megapixel Kamera. Die Frontkamera löst mit 8 Megapixeln auf und im Inneren arbeitet ein Snapdragon 450 mit 3GB RAM und 32GB Speicher. Das ganze wird von einem 3.000mAh Akku betrieben.
Das Moto G6 wird zu einem Preis von 300€ in den Verkauf gehen. Die weniger potente Variante, das Moto G6 Play, das allerdings mit einem deutlich größeren Akku ausgestattet ist wird für 200€ über die Ladentheke gehen.

Das Moto E5 bleibt der bisherigen Rolle als Budget-Gerät treu und kommt mit einem größeren 6 Zoll Display, das allerdings nur mit HD+ auflöst und auf weniger hochwertige Materialen und mehr Displayrand setzt. Für das Moto E der fünften Generation gibt es noch keinen Preis, allerdings dürfte auch das Gerät für manche Nutzer vollkommen ausreichen wenn es darum geht, einfach ein funktionales Smartphone zu besitzen.
Auch beim Moto E5 gibt es insgesamt drei Varianten, die sich jeweils ein wenig unterscheiden:
